Earliest available records indicate that the Randolph Fire Dept. was organized March 6, 1924. It was staffed by men from within the city limits. On December 23rd,1964, a joint venture was undertaken between the City of Randolph and Riverside Twp. This organization is named Randolph Community Fire Dept. Persons both within and without the city limits were then eligible for membership. A new International truck was purchased and was used until replaced in 1985.

Pictured are that replacement truck, a comparable truck bought used, Equipment Van, and Ambulance. Not shown is a brush pickup truck that was was donated to the department and outfitted by members.

Randolph Rescue is not a part of the Fire Dept., but a separate municipal department. Not all the Rescue members are also members of the Fire Dept. This is not a requirement. Hence the 2 sets of officers listed.
